Profile of participants:

The seminar is open to participants within the field of VET (directors of VET institutions/ VET teachers/trainers/providers/VET project coordinators or potential applicants). We welcome newcomers as well as organizations already having some experience in project preparation and implementation.

We are looking for participants who are interested in the topic of the seminar and want to learn about the VET system in the Czech Republic and in different countries. The VET organizations visited will most probably be from technical fields, crafts, IT and/or multimedia.

Themes and goals of the event:

The aim of the study visit is to provide participants with the opportunity to come together and learn about VET systems in different countries, share examples of good practice and possibly plan future cooperation. The event will offer a set of activities allowing open dialogue and direct interactions among participants.

The participants will:


The participants will visit VET institutions with a strong co-operation between VET and businesses, learn about VET systems in different countries, create a network of VET educators, share knowledge, good practices and experiences related to different aspects of VET education and Erasmus+ projects, join activities with participants from other European countries.

Those interested in applying are kindly asked to send it the attached application form by no later than 20 January 2020. It would also be appreciated if you can forward this call to fellow colleagues who might also be interested in applying.

As with regards to costs, travel-related costs will be reimbursed in full by EUPA. Furthermore, accommodation for 2 night will be covered by the Czech NA. Travel insurance and subsistence will not be covered (although the meals during the seminar will be also provided by the hosting NA). A minimal participation fee of Eur20 applies.
