Fostering social inclusion of migrants and ethnic communities through cultural heritage

“Fostering social inclusion of migrants and ethnic communities through cultural heritage” between 22-24 October 2019, Malta

The 3-day training is targeted to representatives of authorities, institutions, organisations, federations and foundations working in the field of Adult Education and lifelong learning targeting third country nationals, and migrants, including but not exclusively, those in need of international protection and refugees, as well as those working in the field of culture and cultural heritage.

Focus will be placed on analysing the needs of project coordinators at application stage including the full understanding of the main priorities in the Adult Education sector, with specific focus on social inclusion of migrants and cultural heritage, the development of a quality framework, as well as elaborate proposals to improve the quality of project implementation. Focus will also be placed on the different aspects of the coordinators’ and mentors’ daily activity in providing the necessary support (ranging from support for learning purposes, social inclusion and integration) of all third country nationals and migrant learners.

Ample time for the sharing of knowledge, good practices and experiences will also be provided. Participants from different European countries will be present for said training.
